The teacher is the facilitator and the main subject of education in schools. It is important for schools to pay attention to the factors that affect the success of teacher performance, including climate and work motivation. A conducive work climate makes teachers comfortable and motivated to work better and more actively. Teachers will work professionally if they have high work motivation. The reality in the field is that there are problems related to an unfavorable climate and low work motivation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of climate and work motivation on teacher performance. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data processing and analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive statistics. The data were taken from the population and sample of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Makarti Jaya, Makarti Jaya sub-district, Banyuasin district. Testing the results of data collection using the normality test, linearity and hypothesis. Based on the hypothesis test, the significance coefficient value is 0.039 < 0.05 and the value and thitung 2.234 > t tabel 2.11. This shows that there is a significant influence of work climate and work motivation on teacher performance.
