Countries in Europe and America have become countries where Arabs have immigrated after World War II. Mahjar Arabic literature is the result of acculturation between two cultures (East-West) and even multicultural acculturation which is supported by the spiritual strength and imagination of diaspora writers. History has recorded that Arabs who immigrated or moved to Diaspora countries have made such great works. This means that the history of diaspora literature needs to be studied in more depth. In this article, the author wants to write a history of Mahjar Arabic literature in Australia, because there is still a lack of writing about Mahjar Arabic literature in this country. From the results of research conducted by the author, it is clear that the role of Arab writers is very important in the development and decline of Mahjar Arabic literature in Australia. The large number of writings in the form of media, journalists and even literary works by Arab writers has also become one of the factors in the development of Arab major/diaspora literature in Australia. On the other hand, the lack of financial resources and the lack of strong and influential Arab institutional organizations are factors in the decline of diaspora literature.
Nashrulloh Surahman ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-02-21 2024-02-21 4 02 1 13 10.2345/kitabina.v4i2.19920 Analisis Citraan Pada Terjemahan Novel Al-Fatá al-ladhi Absara Lawnu al-Hawa
The research examines the issue of imagery in the translation of the novel "Al-Fatá al-ladhi Absara Lawnu al-Hawa." Arabic literature and culture are very important and cannot be separated. In its development, Arabic literature could not be separated from Western influences, so that apart from poetry, new types of literary works, prose and drama, began to develop. The entry of Westerners brought influence and progress to Arabic literature until it reached the period of revival or 'ashr an-nahdlah. This revival phase is divided into two, namely the traditional phase and the renewal phase which gave rise to the neoclassical school. And next, the renewal movement was born as a result of the influence of Western romanticism, one of which was Madrasah Apollo and Ibrahim Najiy as one of its members. This article aims to discover the sociology of author Ibrahim Najiy regarding his phenomenal work al-Athlal. The research method used in this research is an expressive approach to analyzing literary works and their relationship to the author. A historical approach will also be used to conduct research on the authenticity of al-Athlal's poetry. So that we can get the sociology of the author of this phenomenal poetry of al-Athlal.
Intan Handita Kuswoyo ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2023-12-01 2023-12-01 4 02 25 33 10.2345/kitabina.v4i2.19564 Probing the Fusion of Arabic and Gorontalo Dialect in the Daily Linguistic Landscape of Students at Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School
This study aims to delineate the attributes of the day-to-day usage of the Arabic language by students at Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah Limboto Barat, considering the intrusion of the learners' native language, predominantly the Gorontalo regional dialect. The employed research methodology adopts a qualitative descriptive stance, encompassing data accrual through interviews and observations. Subsequently, the data undergoes scrutiny via deductive and descriptive approaches. The revelations of this investigation are expounded upon in five intricately linked sub-dialogues. Initially, the adeptness in verbal communication among students signifies their proficiency in articulating Arabic with fluency and alacrity, devoid of significant hindrances in mutual comprehension. Secondly, instances of imprecisions in the enunciation of letters and linguistic norms emerge in specific scenarios. Thirdly, the direct transference from Gorontalo vernacular to Arabic manifests in sentences retaining the nuances of Gorontalo but articulated with Arabic lexicon. Fourthly, the impact of the mother tongue on the formulation of Arabic as the students' secondary language is discernible in the incorporation of particles within sentences. The outcomes of this research unveil that the attributes of the daily Arabic language usage by Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah's students are profoundly molded by the Gorontalo language. Despite the seamless communication among students, a requisite for refinement persists in their utilization of the Arabic language.
Muhammad Jundi Renni Hasibuan Suleman D. This research focuses on the relationship between Balaghah and Psychology, using the library research method. The author uses the book "Manahij Tajdid fi An-Nahwi wa Al-Balaghah wa At-Tafsir wa Al-Adab" as the main reference, accompanied by various relevant literature sources. The analysis was conducted to understand the implications of philosophy's relation to Balaghah Science, psychological manipulation in the Qur'an, as well as ideas and examples of psychological exposure in Islamic sacred texts. In this study, researchers found that Balaghah and Psychology are interrelated. The concept of Balaghah which includes the use of language and rhetoric in the Qur'an can affect the psychology of the reader. Psychological manipulation in the Qur'an is also found in the form of the use of language and rhetoric that aims to influence readers. However, the researcher emphasizes that such manipulation is not negative, but rather an attempt to help the reader understand the Qur'ānic message better. This research provides substantial insight into understanding the Qur'an from the perspective of Balaghah and Psychology. The library research method used allows the researcher to gain a deeper understanding of Amin Al-Khuli's views and provides a clear picture of the relationship between Balaghah and Psychology. Thus, this study can be an important reference for researchers and readers who are interested in understanding the Qur'an from this perspective.
Ja'far Rais Abdurrahman M. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this research are from three poems by Mahmud Darwisy, entitled his poems 'Āsyiq Min Falisṭīn, Aḥinnu Ila Khubzi Ummī, and Yaumiyyāt Jarḥ Falisṭīnī (Ilā Fadwā Ṭuqān), then analyzed descriptively using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach to reveal the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth . The results of the research show that Mahmud Darwisy clearly represents his nationalism by expressing many symbols of love for the homeland and resistance to colonialism with his poetry. Mahmud Darwisy used his poetry as a weapon against the Zionist invaders, and ignited the spirit of patriotism and resistance against colonialism for the sake of freedom, independence and a better life for the Palestinian people. In these three poems. The poet wants to convey strong feelings of longing and deep love for someone he loves. These three poems are like a message from Mahmud Darwisy to continue to build readers' sense of patriotism, especially the Palestinian people and the Arab people, so that they can have a high fighting spirit and build strong unity to defend independence. The poet wants to convey that when someone is far from someone they love, the desire to return and fight for their good will become greater.
Muhammad Asykari Muslim ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2023-12-12 2023-12-12 4 02 57 65 10.2345/kitabina.v4i02.20574
