Psikis : Jurnal Psikologi Islami <p>Psikis: Jurnal Psikologi Islami is a scientific journal published by Faculty of Psychology of State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang. The papers to be published in Journal of Islamic Psychology is a kind of article of research (quantitative or qualitative research approach), literature study or original ideas that are considered to contribute to the development of general psychology and Islamic Psychology especially with the theme of integration of Psychology and Islamic either by individual or by groups. It is published twice a year, in June and in December. The ideology of conservatism emphasizes on the tendency to preserve what is already established, resist change and maintain existing orders whether social, economic, legal, religious, political, or cultural (Jost, Glaser, Kruglanski, &amp; Sulloway, 2003). This research utilized a quantitative survey method. Participants of this study were 528 college students from Jakarta with multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are 1) Islamic totalism, cognitive closure and right wing authoritarian are social and economic conservatism predictors; 2) only Islamic totalism is a religious conservatism predictor; 3) Islamic totalism has the greatest influence on social, economic and religious conservatives.</p> Istiqomah Istiqomah Bagus Takwin ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-06-01 2020-06-01 6 1 1 15 10.19109/psikis.v6i1.4983 PARENTING, ISLAMIC MORALS AND OBEDIENCE <p>This study aims to measure someone’s obedience which is influenced by the Islamic morals and parenting. Parenting in this study refers to Authoritarian, Permissive and Democratic. While Islamic morals in this study are related to rules and conventions regarding what humans should do in their interactions with others. Respondent of this study was 120 people using accindental sampling. Aiken V validity and Alpha Cronbach reliability is used to measure Obedience Scale (0.764, 0.849), Islamic Moral scale (0.830, 0.804), Authoritarian scale (0.917, 0.611), Permissive Scale (0.833, 0.543) and Demokratic Scale (0.850, 0.891). There is a significant correlation between Obedience and Islamic morals (p= .521), obedience and democratic parenting (p = .380), Democratic parenting and Islamic morals (p= .636). Regression analysis was carried out to see the influence and contribution of Islamic morals and parenting authoritarian, permissive and democratic – towards obedience, where Islamic morals significantly affected compliance by 27.1% and democratic parenting by 14.4%.</p> Yuarini Wahyu Pertiwi Amirul Muminin ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-06-01 2020-06-01 6 1 16 28 10.19109/psikis.v6i1.3921 ISLAMIC PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS REGARDING TO RAḤMAH BASED EDUCATION PORTRAIT AT IAIN CURUP <p>This study aims to describe the continuous and memorable implementation of <em>raḥmah </em>based education in fostering the personality of students of IAIN Curup. A qualitative approach was used by adopting a descriptive method. Lecturers, academic related parties, and students from Islamic education department were engaged as the subjects of the present study. The data were garnered using interview and observation. This study revealed that the meanings of <em>raḥmah</em> in the implementation of learning at IAIN Curup, include: the contents of the learning curriculum, especially KKNI sourced from the Qur’an and integrated to modern theories with the content of the Qur’an so grounded in the lives of students; atmosphere, campus facilities and lecturers' behavior make students feel comfortable; every lecturer provides guidance and assistance sincerely; guiding students to be of good character; Academic services at IAIN Curup provide discretion and justice to students; Providing information to students in accordance with their psychological readiness; Keeping students away from things that endanger themselves and others; and the lecturers realized that their main duty is watering students with knowledge, wisdom, and faith with compassion and tenderness.</p> Idi Warsah ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-06-01 2020-06-01 6 1 29 41 10.19109/psikis.v6i1.3941 THE TRAINING OF GRATEFULNESS IN IMPROVING LIFE MEANING OF CONVICTS AT CLASS 2 LPKA PEKANBARU <p>Religious values need are very imporant for convicts at LPKA Class two Pekanbaru. Religion is an obvious influenced source in issuing the meaning of life to convicts. The research objective is to know how far the influence of gratefulness training in improving life meaning of convicts at LPKA class two Pekanbaru is.The researcher used experiment approaching <em>pre and post-test control group design</em>with 23 control groupsand 23 treatment groups,anddata analysis <em>independent sample t-test </em>was obtained score&nbsp; t= 6,894 (p&lt;0,01). Average score from treatment group are higher &nbsp;(23,057) than control group average (15,6). It shows that life meaning of convicts who get gratefulness training are higher than convicts who don’t join the training. This study was Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research involved the teacher’s attempt (the researcher) in the form of the learning process. Validity concept and instrument reliability used in the data collection. In this research also known as practical validity/reliability, which means that as long as the members of the action research group decide that the instrument is valid and reliable, it can be used. Islamic education learning strategies need to use intelligence by solving the problems faced by the students, developed new problems to be solved, and make something useful in their life. The study population was the administrators of Magelang Regency IPNU PAC which consisted of 18 PACs. The sample in this study amounted to 157 people selected by cluster random sampling technique. The topic of research is the extent to which the organizational commitment of the board when linked to spiritual intelligence, because managing a non-profit organization is different when we are managing a profit organization. The scale of spiritual intelligence and the scale of organizational commitment become data collection tools in this study where the second scale was made by researchers. The data collected were analyzed with the product moment correlation technique resulting in a value of 0.556 with a significance level of 0,000 (p &lt;0.01), indicating that spiritual intelligence and organizational commitment of PAC IPNU administrators in Magelang Regency were highly correlated. The effective contribution of the spiritual intelligence variable contributed 30.9% to the organizational commitment of the PAC IPNU Magelang District management, while 69.1% of the organizational commitment was influenced by other factors.</p> Kurnia Ulfa Adi Heryadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-06-01 2020-06-01 6 1 58 67 10.19109/psikis.v6i1.3240 ISLAMIC RELIGIOSITY TOWARD ACADEMIC FRAUD STUDENT OF UIN RADEN FATAH PALEMBANG <p>The goal of this research is to discover the relations between Islamic religiosity toward academic fraud of student of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research is quantitative research. Subjects of the research are 204 students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The hypothesis in this research there is a relationship between islamic religiosity towards academic fraud. Data collection uses 2 measurements,namely 1) Islamic religiosity using Psychological Measure of Islamic Religiousness (PMIR) scale; 2) Academic fraud using self reporting cheating scale (SRCS). Prerequisite test using Goodness of Fit Overall showing that from 5 criterias show good model. Analysis results by using SEM from 8 religiosity dimensions, 7 dimensions not proven so that there is no significant relationship between islamic religiosity towards academic fraud. However, no study has been conducted to see the direction and trends of this subjectrecently and how the subject of this study able to give a bigger impact in the future. The aim of this study was to assess the trends on the theme of religiosity studies in Indonesia in the last ten years. The method used was literature review using the data obtained from Google Scholar by two keywords in Indonesian i.e "religiusitas" and "keberagamaan" which both have same meaning that is religiosity. The result shows religiosity studies in Indonesia mostly related to morality and wellbeing. This study aims to analyze the types of madhab integration in constructing journal literacy in the areas of Islamic psychology in Indonesia. Thus, the tendency could be known and be a guideline in the development of Islamic psychology later on. As library research that used content analysis techniques, this study found that although the journal writers had diverse typologies in the development of the Islamic Psychology madhab, the study showed that the Transpersonal madhab dominated the pattern of developing Islamic psychology in the journaling system in Indonesia.This tendency is due to the process of Islamic integration, the easiest psychology, and the lowest resistance level is integrating Psychotranspersonal with Islamic sciences. The desire for happiness makes humans look for the source of happiness that its existence is worthy of several elements of life. Education as one of the crucial elements of life has varied learning models that can increase the willingness of students to learn. The conscious effort to learn becomes more optimal in a happy psychological condition. This research discusses the ultimate happiness in the Koran described with scientific theories of happiness and explains the Quantum theory of happiness in the learning model. The research method used was literature study and content analysis as the data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that first, happiness in the Koran was not caused by wealth but our faith as a believer. Second, there are endorphins in humans that emit happiness and calmness. Third, someone who is happy will have a change in thoughts, words, actions, facial expressions, and positive muscle activity. Fourth, the learning model that can create happy learning begins with creating happy emotions, giving both material and non-material rewards, and good habituation.
