ANALISIS PRINSIP-PRINSIP COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DALAM PELAKSANAAN USAHA KECIL DAN MENENGAH (UKM) DI KECAMATAN SEBERANG ULU I KOTA PALEMBANG

Abstract

Community Development is a commitment to empowering people so that they have real choices regarding their future. One form of empowering the community is Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are businesses that are run by individuals on a small scale and are not a part or branch of any company. This study aims to find out how the principles of Community Development in the implementation of SMEs in Seberang Ulu I District, Palembang City. This research is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation with qualitative data analysis by Miles & Huberman. Based on the results of the research that the Analysis of Community Development Principles in the Implementation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Seberang Ulu I District, Palembang City has been carried out smoothly, it's just that there are some SMEs who have not implemented it. This is due to the low participation of some SMEs in applying the principles of community development in the implementation of their business. This happens because some SMEs do not understand in depth about the principles of community development when applied in the implementation of a business.
