IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM PEMBERDAYAAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA (PKK) DI KELURAHAN LEBUNG GAJAH KECAMATAN SEMATANG BORANG KOTA PALEMBANG PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

Abstract

The family empowerment and welfare program (PKK) is a national policy made by the Indonesian government since the new reform era. Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) is a women's representative movement that has been recognized for its existence and the main PKK program is a program to fulfill basic needs for the realization of family welfare.This research is descriptive qualitative which uses data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of the family empowerment and welfare program (PKK) in Lebung Gajah Subdistrict, Sematang Borang District, Palembang City, South Summatera Province, is in the communication process, where PKK cadres always socialize and educate the community in Lebung Gajah Village to know the importance of this PKK program. Resources, where the implementation of the PKK program in Lebung Gajah Village has fulfilled human resources. Disposition, where the cadres have character and characteristics such as commitment, honesty, and democratic character. Bureaucratic structure, in implementing the PKK program in Lebung Gajah Village, it has SOPs and has a working group (pokja). So the implementation of the family empowerment and welfare program (PKK) in Lebung Gajah Village, Sematang Borang District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province has been carried out smoothly it’s just less effective.
