STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KEMANDIRIAN PADA SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN IGM AL-IHSANIYAH KECAMATAN GANDUS PALEMBANG

Abstract
Abstract This study describes the strategy and application of self-reliance development for students at the Modern Igm Al-Ihsaniyah Islamic boarding school, Gandus sub- district, Palembang. Where the problem faced is the development of the times that make the meaning of independence for students in Islamic boarding schools actualized such as cooking themselves, washing their own clothes, being disciplined in time, following the rules and being able to live side by side with their friends at the boarding school. However, according to the times, there is a shift in the independence of the students. The method used is a qualitative method. This type of research is descriptive. The data obtained by means of observation, interviews with informants, namely: Deputy Leader of the Modern Islamic Boarding School Igm Al-Ihsaniyah, 3 teachers who teach, 8 Santri and 1 Alumni of the cottage and documentation. The research process starts from August 31, 2020 to September 13, 2020. Data analysis before drawing conclusions goes through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the Modern Islamic Boarding School Igm Al-Ihsaniyah, Gandus sub-district, Palembang is able to regenerate students to become good ummah, students who have a spirit of simplicity and independence through the strategy of developing independence in students at the Modern Igm Al-Ihsaniyah Islamic Boarding School. is to remain based on the rules of the cottage where there are five souls and the motto of the Islamic boarding school. The independence strategy at this pesantren itself is by implementing 5 P-1 U, namely direction, assignment, escort, training, habituation and Uswatun repertoire from educators. This strategy was immediately applied by the students to form total independence for the students.
