Change Of Authorship
Article authorship should be limited to those who have contributed enough to take public responsibility for its content. This contribution includes (a) conception and design, analysis and interpretation of data, or both, (b) draft articles or critically revise them for important intellectual content, (c) final approval of the version to be published and (d) agreement to be responsible for all aspects of the work by ensuring that questions relating to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are properly resolved. Submission to Al-Misykah: Journal of Al-Qur'an Studies and Tafsir is perceived by the journal that all the listed authors have agreed with all of the article content. The corresponding author (submitter) is responsible for ensuring that this agreement has been reached, and for managing all communications between the journal and co-authors before and after publication. Addition, completion or re-completion of the author's name in the list of authors must be done only before the manuscript is accepted and only if approved by the journal Editor. To request such changes, the Editor must receive the following from the correspondent authors: (a) reasons for changing the list of authors and (b) written confirmation (email, letter) from all authors that they agree with the addition, deletion or rearrangement. In the case of adding or removing authors, this includes confirmation of the added or removed authors. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Editor consider additions, deletions or rearrangements of writing after receipt of the manuscript. While the Editor considers the request, publication of the manuscript will be corrected. If the manuscript has been published in an online edition, each request approved by the Editor will result in a corrigendum.
