In case, the article has been published in Al-Misykah: Journal of Al-Qur'an Studies and Tafsir, will be consider to retract in the publication if:

  • Has clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of error (eg data generation) or honest error (eg miscalculation or experimental error).
  • False claims of authorship, plagiarism.
  • It reports unethical research,
  • Findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper attribution to the prior source or disclosure to the editor, permission to republish, or justification (i.e., case of overpublishing).

A statement signed by the author must be submitted before the article can be withdrawn. The consent of all authors of a paper is required before a retraction can be issued. A retraction notice will be issued and a link to the original article will be clearly marked as retracted. In addition, the notification will also include the reason for the withdrawal and who withdrew the article. The original article will not be removed from the online version and the journal print version, but will be identified as a retracted article. Revocation will also be listed on the content page.
