Abstract
Universalisme Islam adalah kajian yang dititikberatkan pada konsep kemanusiaan. Meskipun tidak menafikan bahwa kajian serupa juga ada pada agama-agama samawi lainnya seperti Yahudi, Zoroaster dan Kristen, kajian kemanusiaan dalam Islam lebih sesuai dengan zaman modern karena lebih mendalam dan komprehensif dan sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Dibandingkan dengan kajian-kajian kemanusiaan filsuf Eropa, Islam masih memiliki kelebihan karena memasukkan nilai transenden dalam kajiannya.
