About the Journal

 

Soloeh Melajoe: Jurnal Magister Sejarah Peradaban Islam is published by the Program Studi Magister Sejarah Peradaban Islam, Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang. The journal publishes peer-reviewed research articles employing qualitative and quantitative research approaches, as well as scholarly studies in the fields of Civilization History, Sociology, Philology, Anthropology, Intellectual History, and Malay Civilization History. The articles particularly emphasize the theme of integration between Civilization History (as a branch of historical studies) and religious, cultural, and social values, examined at both individual and collective levels.Soloeh Melajoe serves as an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, and graduate students to disseminate original research, critical studies, and theoretical reflections related to historical processes, cultural interactions, and intellectual traditions within diverse societies. The journal encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives and promotes scholarly dialogue on the continuity and transformation of civilizations in both local and global contexts, with a special focus on the Malay world and the Nusantara region.
