Arabic language contributes greatly to the Islamic scholarly tradition. However, in the times, the challenges in learning Arabic are increasingly complex, especially in the era of globalization which offers a variety of new methods and approaches in language education. Many learners experience difficulties in understanding Arabic in depth, both from the linguistic aspect and their understanding of Islamic texts. This study aims to describe Al-Ghazali's perspective on Arabic language education and its relevance to the current education system, especially in facing the challenges of globalization which demands a comprehensive and detailed understanding of Arabic. The method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach to Al-Ghazali's writings that refer to various relevant literature. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that Al-Ghazali places Arabic as the main foundation in understanding religious knowledge, emphasizes the importance of learning methods that are integrative between theory and practice, and advocates a spiritual approach in the process of learning Arabic.References
