Penggunaan Augmented Reality Sebagai Media Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Arab Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII A MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung

Vocabulary mastery is the main foundation for successful Arabic language learning. However, conventional learning methods in class VIII A MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung cause some students to experience difficulties in understanding and using Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery through Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning. This study utilised the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results of the study showed an increase in the average scores and learning mastery of students from cycle I to cycle II. In addition, the use of Augmented Reality media also increased student motivation and involvement in the learning process. Therefore, Augmented Reality-based learning media can be used as an effective and innovative learning alternative to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery.
