Rasm Analysis In Manuscript Mushaf Al-Qur'an LSM MJ 004 Surat Al-Isra' In Lasem Mosque Library

Abstract
This research explores Mushaf Al-Qur'an LSM MJ 014 which is kept at the Jami' Mosque Museum in Lasem, Rembang, Central Java, with a focus on the historical background of the Uthmani rasm and the application of its writing rules. The main problem raised is the emergence of differences in the recitation of the Qur'an during the time of Caliph Uthman bin 'Affan which encouraged the standardization of the mushaf through the preparation of the Uthmani mushaf. This research uses a qualitative approach with two main methods: field research through direct observation and interviews at the location of the manuscript, and library research through literature studies related to the Ottoman rasm. The results of the analysis show that Mushaf LSM MJ 014 uses a combination of the Ottoman rasm and the Imla'i rasm, with the dominant application of the Ottoman rasm. In Surah Al-Isra', 27 lafaz were found that reflect the combination of the two rasm. The rules of the Ottoman rasm applied refer to the six main rules according to Imam Jalaluddin as-Suyuthi in al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur'annamely the rules of al-hadzf, al-ziyadah, al-hamzah, badal, washal wa fashl, and the rules of ma fihi qira'atani wa kutiba 'ala ihdahuma. The conclusion of this study shows that despite the influence of the Imla'i rasm, this Mushaf as a whole still shows strong characteristics of the Ottoman rasm.
