Representation of Ikhlas Value in Qodrat 2 Movie (Thematic Study of Ikhlas Verse)

Abstract
Digital development has an impact on the spread of Islam to the film industry. One of them is Qodrat 2, an Indonesian horror movie directed by Charles Gozali. Many verses, prayers, and dhikr accompany this movie. Ikhlas in this movie is not only focused on being sincere to all the difficulties that come our way, but also a broader and deeper message of sincerity. The purpose of this study is to reveal and explain the values of sincerity in the movie Qodrat. This study uses library research, by conducting content analysis and is associated with the concept of maqashid sharia. Using thematic method with steps formulated by 'Abd al-Hayy al-Farmawi. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of ikhlas contained in the movie Qodrat 2 is in line with the interpretation of the presentation of the value of ikhlas in the movie according to QS. al-Hijr verse 40, QS. al-Ikhlas, and QS. al-Hajj verse 31. QS. al-Hajj verse 31, one of the verses that describes the scene of Azizah who is depressed because of the death of her son and husband and gets difficulties after asking the devil for help. The character is depicted with an unsettled soul filled with guilt. Azizah loses direction and the meaning of life “as if she had fallen from the sky, then snatched by a bird or flown by the wind to a distant place”.
