Abstract

The background of this research is that religion is closely related to religiosity. Not only in carrying out ritual (worship) but also other activities driven by inner strength. This study aims to find out how the religiosity of daily fishermen in the Bonang coastal community. This study uses a type of field research (field research) qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary data from interviews and secondary data from books, journals and other related topics. This study uses data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation in the village of Bonang, Lasem, Rembang. Observations made by observation and direct interviews were focused on the daily fishermen of the Bonang coastal community. The results of this study are the religiosity of the daily fisherman of the Bonang coastal community is strongly influenced by educational factors. The level of religiosity of the daily fishermen of the Bonang coastal community is quite good, this can be seen from various series of religious activities of the Bonang community, including: Weekly Tahlilan activities, Selapanan, Haul Bonang, Marine Alms, and Bende Becak.
