Pendidikan Pesantren Terhadap Moral Bermasyarakat Santri

Abstract

The increasing cases of moral decline increasingly show that modern Indonesian educational institutions have not been able to produce students with good morals. In fact, Islamic boarding schools are one of the institutions that are expected to be able to change the morals of the santri community, especially in society, through their programs, regulations, and customs. Through various initiatives, policies, and actions that are currently being carried out, this study seeks to determine how Islamic Boarding School Education impacts the social morality of students. Through interviews and observations, researchers collected information from informants, the surrounding community, administrators, and students at the Islamic boarding school. After that, researchers processed and analyzed the data using data triangulation. The results of the study showed that the policies and activities of the Miftahul Huda 606 Islamic Boarding School had a significant impact on the morality of the santri community and the community's ability to respond to the involvement of students and the community.
