Ghaidan: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam dan Kemasyarakatan is a blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal on Islamic and social counseling issues. The journal is published two times a year (start from 2017) by the UIN Raden Fatah Palembang with Online ISSN 2621-8283

Ghaidan aims to attract a broad spectrum of national and international readers and contributors. Articles that interest counselor educators and practitioners working in schools, community agencies, university and college counseling centers, and other institutions in which psychological counseling is practiced are published.

We welcome articles dealing with: research reports of studies that have relevance to counseling practitioners; descriptions of new techniques or innovative programs and practices; discussions of current scientific issues; commentaries on current professional issues; critical summaries of published research and current issues of course; and studies that increase our understanding of individuals, groups, and the society to help illuminate their counseling needs. The Editor will be pleased to consider brief rebuttals to articles or brief commentaries (perhaps only a page or two) on issues of immediate relevance to this profession.
