This study aims to explore moral education for children by addressing the negative influence of social media in the digital era and to identify the strategies employed by teachers to mitigate its impact on students’ moral development. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that social media use can have both positive and negative effects on students' morals. On the positive side, it facilitates communication and interaction among students. However, it also contributes to deviant behaviors such as dishonesty and a lack of respect for elders. To counter these negative effects, teachers implement strategies such as limiting students’ use of mobile phones, conducting moral development activities, and collaborating with parents to strengthen supervision and control at home.
