Peningkatan Mutu Sekolah Perspektif Philip B. Crosby

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya peningkatan mutu sekolah perspektif Philip B. Crosby. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pertama, ada dua gagasan kontroversial yang ditawarkan oleh Crosby yaitu quality is free dan zero defect. Kedua gagasan ini bermakna positif bagi lembaga pendidikan yaitu kualitas tanpa biaya dan menghilangkan kegagalan pada siswa. Kedua, Crosby menawarkan 14 langkah dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yaitu komitmen manajemen, tim perbaikan mutu, pengukuran mutu, evaluasi biaya mutu, kesadaran mutu, tindakan perbaikan, komite ad hoc untuk program zero defect, pelatihan penyelia, hari zero defect, penentuan sasaran, penghapusan penyebab kesalahan, penghargaan/pengakuan, dewan mutu, lakukan berulang kali.
