Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis bagaimana cara memantau jaringan menggunakan Network Monitoring System menggunakan Solarwinds Orion NPM dan membangun sistem pemantauan perangkat jaringan pada Bank Sumsel Babel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan metode tindakan (action research). Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah 1) diagnosa jaringan computer, 2) survei, 3) melakukan tindakan, 4) evaluasi, dan 5) pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa menggunakan prototyping yang dilakukan telah berhasil dan sesuai dengan tujuan dari pembuatan server NMS tersebut, adapun ini dapat dilihat dari 3 tanggapan hasil pengujian yaitu saat node berfungsi dengan normal, dan saat node dalam kondisi online/offline telah sesuai dengan hasil dari tools ping pada windows.
