Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji terkait dengan pengaruh Penyesalan (Regret) terhadap Harapan (Hope) narapidana kasus pencurian di Rutan Kelas I Cipinang.. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah menggunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel ialah simple random sampling. Jumlah responden yang diteliti ialah 101 narapidana kasus pencurian pasal 363 KUHP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persamaan regresi yaitu Y= 12.833 + 0.598 X yang bernilai positif, bermakna setiap penambahan 1% regret maka hope akan naik 0.598. Uji signifikansi menunjukkan sig yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima maka dari itu menunjukan adanya pengaruh penyesalan (regret) terhadap harapan (hope) narapidana kasus pencurian di Rutan Kelas I Cipinang sebesar 25.5 % dan 75.5 % lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.
