Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 25. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan metode survey yaitu 83 pegawai dijadikan sampel penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja sebesar 33,2%, sedangkan sisanya 66,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
