Frekuensi Penggunaan Gadget dan Implikasinya terhadap Prestasi Akademik serta Konsentrasi Siswa

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak frekuensi penggunaan gadget terhadap prestasi dan konsentrasi siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) SMPN 1 Pagerageung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian adala kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap 30 siswa . Variabel independen adalah frekuensi penggunaan gadget, sementara variabel dependen mencakup prestasi akademik dan konsentrasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan analisis deskriptif, regresi linear, dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan negatif lemah antara frekuensi penggunaan gadget dan prestasi siswa dengan nilai korelasi r=−0.2066r = -0.2066r=−0.2066. Semakin lama penggunaan gadget, prestasi akademik cenderung menurun, namun dampaknya tidak signifikan. Untuk konsentrasi, korelasi yang dihasilkan r=−0.0162r = -0.0162r=−0.0162 menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat lemah dan mendekati nol, menandakan bahwa pengaruh gadget terhadap konsentrasi hampir tidak ada. Dengan demikian, penggunaan gadget memiliki pengaruh kecil terhadap prestasi dan konsentrasi siswa. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan untuk pengelolaan waktu penggunaan gadget guna meminimalkan dampak negatifnya pada proses belajar siswa, terutama pada mata pelajaran PAI.
