Semiotic Analysis Of The Representation Of Moral Values In The KKN Film In The Dancer Village

The purpose of this study is to determine the representation of moral values in the film "KKN in the Dancer Village" using the Semiotic Analysis method. This research analysis method utilizes images or visuals from films that convey moral ideals. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design to describe, analyze, record, and interpret signs and symbols that express moral ideals in the KKN Di Desa Penari film.
The primary data in this study is the softfile of the KKN film in the Dancer Village, scenarios, and data related to the film are the key data in this study. While the secondary data is secondary data which will be used as a theoretical basis for the challenges studied. The collected data were then analyzed using Roland Barthes' model of semiotic analysis which consists of two signatory orders, namely denotation, connotation, and moral.
The results of the study show that in describing the moral values of human relations with oneself in the aspects of being honest, angry, helping, attitudes, reminding, breaking promises, and aspects of customs in the KKN film in the Penari Village, symbols and language are used which depictions are very dependent on on the customs of the village.
