Managerial Strategies in Facing the Nonlinearity Challenges of Teachers toward Students' Learning Comprehension at SMPN 1 Tambelang

Abstract
This study aims to explore and analyze the managerial strategies implemented at SMPN 1 Tambelang in addressing the challenges of teacher non-linearity concerning students' learning comprehension. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with interviews as the primary data collection method. The findings reveal that teacher non-linearity in teaching includes mismatches between academic backgrounds and taught subjects, limitations in subject mastery, as well as challenges in selecting appropriate teaching methods and responding to students' critical questions. To overcome these challenges, SMPN 1 Tambelang implements various managerial strategies, such as enhancing teacher competencies through training and professional development, adopting flexible teaching methods, optimizing the principal’s role in supervision and support, utilizing technology in learning, and fostering collaborative approaches among teachers, students, and parents. The findings emphasize that with the right strategies, challenges related to non-linearity in teaching can be minimized, ultimately improving students' learning quality.
