The Role of Technology in Enhancing Educational Management and Efficiency: A Literature Review

Abstract
This study aims to examine the strategic role of information and communication technology (ICT) in enhancing educational management and efficiency in the digital era. Using a literature review method, the author collected and analyzed various relevant sources that discuss the application of ICT in the educational context, both from managerial and operational perspectives. The findings indicate that technology has a significant impact on accelerating information flow, facilitating access to learning resources, and improving the effectiveness of decision-making processes within educational environments. Furthermore, digital communication plays a vital role in strengthening relationships among educators, students, and policymakers through various interactive and efficient online platforms. The implementation of ICT enables educational institutions to manage academic and administrative data more systematically, minimize human error, and save time and operational costs. Moreover, ICT supports learning flexibility, particularly through online learning models that allow teaching and learning activities to continue despite spatial and temporal limitations. This study concludes that optimal utilization of information and communication technology not only contributes to educational efficiency but also reinforces an adaptive, responsive, and sustainable educational management foundation amidst the dynamics of globalization and contemporary developments. Therefore, a strong commitment and continuous innovation from all stakeholders are needed to strategically integrate ICT into the national education system.
