The Importance of Information and Communication Technology in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Educational Management in the Digital Era

Abstract
Rapid technological developments have driven significant transformations in education, changing traditional management systems to be more dynamic and efficient. Educational management as an important component in the education system is faced with the demands to adapt to changes in the digital era. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of technology and information to improve the effectiveness of educational management in the digital era. A qualitative approach is used with a focus on the analysis of relevant scientific literature from various sources such as academic journals, books, review articles, and other online sources. The results of the study show that the application of information and communication technology in educational management in the digital era has been proven to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of educational management through administrative automation, expanding access to learning, improving communication, and data-based decision-making. The main challenges in implementing ICT include the digital divide and access to infrastructure, limited skills of teachers and staff, and resistance to change. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of policies and sustainable investment in ICT infrastructure, increasing digital literacy, and designing integrated systems to support the transformation of educational management that is responsive to the demands of the digital era.
