SCHOOL BULLYING PADA SISWA SMP AL FAJAR CIPUTAT TANGERANG SELATAN BANTEN

Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peranan manajemen pengawasan sekolah dalam mengatasi masalah school bullying di SMP Al Fajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Responden penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, waka bidang kesiswaan, dan siswa/siswi Kelas IX. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai pelanggaran, sikap tidak disiplin, dan kasus kekerasan yang terjadi pada siswa sebenarnya bukan sepenuhnya menjadi kesalahan pribadi siswa, tetapi juga bisa disebabkan oleh faktor guru. Dari hasil observasi memang terlihat pengawasan dari kepala sekolah belum optimal, karena jarang melakukan supervisi kelas atau mengawasi ketika guru sedang melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Untuk mencegah terjadinya tindakan bullying pihak sekolah perlu menjalin komunikasi yang baik dan efektif dengan orang tua siswa; kepala sekolah bersama dengan guru harus bekerjasama dan berkoordinasi untuk meningkatkan dan mengoptimalakan kembali fungsi manajemen pengawasan sekolah agar tercipta masyarakat belajar yang taat pada aturan dan tata tertib sekolah. Pihak sekolah perlu menjalin kerjasama dengan masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar sebagai upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya perilaku bullying yang terjadi di luar lingkungan sekolah.Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of management oversight in addressing the problem of school (school bullying) in SMP Al Fajar. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Respondents are principals, deputy head of the student, and the student male / female students of class IX. The results showed that a variety of violations, undisciplined attitude and violence that occurs in the student actually not entirely the student's personal fault, but can also be caused by factors teachers. From the observation was seen supervision of the school principal is not optimal, because rarely supervise or oversee class when the teacher is implementing the learning process. To prevent bullying, the school needs to establish a good and effective communication with parents. The school principal together with teachers also have to cooperate and coordinate to improve and optimize the management functions of school supervision in order to create learning communities that adhere to the rules and regulations of the school. The school needs to cooperate with the community and the environment in an effort to prevent bullying behavior that happens outside the school environment.
