KESIAPAN PENDIDIK DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN DALAM MENYONSONG MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN

Abstract
Abstrak: Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang sangat strategis dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, sehingga harus dilakukan secara profesional. Oleh sebab itu, guru sebagai salah satu pelaku pendidikan haruslah seorang yang profesional. Berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan Asean Economic Community yang mulai berlaku pada tahun 2015 ini peran pendidikan dan pendidik dalam menyonsong Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean harus ditingkatkan dalam rangka menyiapkan tenaga yang siap memasuki dunia kerja, baik secara formal ataupun informal, baik di dalam negeri maupun intra ASEAN untuk mencegah banjirnya tenaga kerja terampil dari luar. Persoalannya adalah sudahkah tenaga pendidik kita siap sepenuhnya menghadapi Asean Economic Community, melihat reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia berjalan amat lamban? Perbaikan terhadap kualitas SDM tenaga kerja di Indonesia juga menjadi salah satu fokus pembenahan dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing tenaga kerja Indonesia di pasar ASEAN. Tidak hanya dari segi kemampuan pendidikan, keahlian, dan produktifitas namun yang tidak kalah penting adalah pembekalan kemampuan penguasaan bahasa asing bagi tenaga kerja Indonesia. Seperti sudah banyak diberitakan bahwa negara–negara di ASEAN seperti Thailand bahkan Australia sudah mengadakan pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada lembaga pendidikannya.Abstract: Education is a process that is very strategic in the intellectual life of the nation, so it must be done professionally. Therefore, the teacher as one of the principals of education should be a professional. Relating to the implementation of the Asean Economic Community which came into force in 2015, the role of education and educators in Welcoming the Asean Economic Community should be improved in order to prepare personnel who are ready to enter the world of work , either formally or informally, both domestically and intra ASEAN to prevent the flood of skilled labor from outside. The question have educators we are ready fully prepared to face the Asean Economic Community, see education reform in Indonesia runs very slow? Improvement of the quality of human labor in Indonesia also became one focus of reform in order to improve the competitiveness of Indonesian workers in the ASEAN market. Not only in terms of the ability of education, skills, and productivity but no less important is the provisioning capabilities of foreign languages for Indonesian workers. As has been widely reported that the state - in ASEAN countries such as Thailand and even Australia have held Indonesian lessons in their education. Keywords: teacher, Asean economic community
