Recruitmen Management, Selection, Orientation and Placement of Human Resources Education at Darma Bakti Middle School, Bogor City

Abstract
This research aims to describe and analyze the processes of recruitment, selection, orientation and placement process of human resources (HR) for educators and education personnel at SMP Darma Bakti Bogor City. Employing a qualitative approach through field observation methods, the research found that the school’s HR management practices are carried out systematically and grounded in strategic planning. The recruitment process begins with a needs analysis and the dissemination of vacancy information via digital media. The selection stage involves multiple layers, assessing both professional competence and personal character. The orientation program is designed to facilitate adaptation and introduce the school’s organizational culture through a social learning approach. HR placement is based on orientation evaluation outcomes, educational background and character alignment. The findings suggest that SMP Darma Bakti has applied modern HR management principles aligned with strategic management theories and the job-person fit framework. These insight are expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions is managing human resources professionally and sustainably.
