The Strategy of the Head of Administration in Improving Administrative Services at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Head of Administration in improving administrative services at Muhammadiyah 3 Junior High School in Bandar Lampung using Fred R. David's strategy theory, which includes strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the head of administration, vice principal, administrative staff, and service users. The results of the study indicate that strategy formulation was carried out through identifying administrative service needs and problems involving various parties, resulting in a participatory strategy that is appropriate to the school's conditions. Strategy implementation was carried out flexibly and adaptively by adjusting to service needs, and supported by the use of technology such as computers, WhatsApp, and online services, although not yet fully optimal. Strategy evaluation is carried out continuously through coordination meetings, direct supervision, and feedback from service users. This strategy has an impact on improving the quality of administrative services that are faster and more efficient. However, there are still obstacles such as limited infrastructure and miscommunication between staff. Therefore, it is necessary to improve human resource competency and optimize the use of technology to support more effective and sustainable administrative services.
