KETENTUAN ADAT DAN REGULASI HUKUM DI KESULTANAN PALEMBANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the regularity of customs and legal regulations in the Sultanate of Palembang Darussalam. This study examines the government system of the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate, Palembang Piagem, and Simbur Cahaya. This study takes a lot of data through library studies, through journals and electronic books. The results of this study indicate that in the center of the Palembang Sultanate using Islamic law and in Uluan Palembang using the Palembang Charter which absorbs traditional values. Also, Simbur Cahaya is a legal representation that existed during the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate. The problems raised in this study are: 1. Government Structure in the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate, 2. Palembang Charter in the regulation of customary law in the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate, and 3. Simbur Cahaya as a representation of customary law during the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate.
