About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Jurnal Studi Agama promotes interdisciplinary approaches to any of the world's religious and spiritual traditions, and invites contributions from scholars in various fields, notably:
- Theology and religious thought
- Philosophy of religion and religious ethics
- Sociology of religion
- Role of religion in culture and society
- Comparative and interreligious studies
- Religion and environmental issues
- Religion and contemporary challenges
Peer Review Process
Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by the Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by the Double Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors for revision. These processes take a month for maximum time. For each manuscript, Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer collaborates with Jurnal Studi Agama Journal.
Publication Frequency
Jurnal Studi Agama is published twice a year; in June and December with seven articles for each edition. It is also published in two versions; print out and electronic.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
