Jurnal Semiotika-Q: Kajian Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir is a biannual and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing the scholarly study of Qur’an from many different perspectives. Particular attention is paid to the works dealing with:

Qur’anic Studies
Qur’anic sciences
Living Qur'an
Qur’anic Stuides accros different areas in the world (The Middle East, The West, Archipelago and other areas)
Methodology of Qur’an and Tafsir studies

Publication Frequency

Semiotika al-Qur'an journal is published biannually in June and December. It is also published in two versions; print out and electronic.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal utilizes the OneSearch: Indonesia National Library to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
