Psikis : Jurnal Psikologi Islami is a scientific journal published by Faculty of Psychology of State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang. The papers to be published in Journal of Islamic Psychology is a kind of article of research (quantitative or qualitative research approach), literature study or original ideas that are considered to contribute to the development of general psychology and Islamic Psychology especially with the theme of integration of Psychology and Islamic either by individual or by groups. It is published twice a year, in June and in December. There are two version of publication; print out (p) with ISSN: 2502-728X and electronic (e) with ISSN Online: 2549-6468.

Focus and Scope

Articles that can be published in the Journal are articles from empirical research (quantitative or qualitative approaches), literature studies or thought studies which are seen as contributing to the development of general psychology and Islamic psychology especially with the theme of integration of psychology and Islam, which done individually or in groups. The primary target audiences of this journal are academicians, practitioners, graduate students and other professionals with interest in Islamic Psychology.

Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to the editorial staff will be selected through a Preliminary Review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers and proceed to the next selection through the Blind Preview Process. After that the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes a maximum of a month. In each manuscript, peer reviewers will be assessed from a substantial and technical aspect. Peer reviewers who collaborate with this journal. There are two reviewers involved in the review of each article who have competence in the field of the theme of the article.

Publication Frequency

Psikis: Jurnal Psikologi Islami is published twice a year; in June and December with eight articles for each edition. It is also published in two versions; print out and electronic.
