Penerapan Sembilan Elemen Jurnalisme di Radio Republik Indonesia Palembang

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information systems are growing very rapidly, so that current technological developments make it easier for humans to find information. In this case RRI Palembang provides various information. This study aims to apply the nine elements of journalism at RRI Palembang by using qualitative methods through interviews, observation and documentation approaches. From the research conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that there are two who have not implemented the Nine Elements of Journalism, the first being independent and the second being a power monitor. Implementing independent journalists is easy, but the problem for each individual is where they work. , because it is related to the interests of the media, and in implementing power monitoring it means it is difficult to do because it is still controlled by power and must follow what is the direction of the media company itself.
