Tadwin Journal is a scientific journal published by the Library and Information Science Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating research findings, conceptual studies, and critical perspectives in the fields of library and information science, documentation, and archives.

Tadwin Journal was first published in 2020 as part of the academic commitment of the Library and Information Science Study Program to promote research culture and scholarly publication among academics, researchers, librarians, and information practitioners. The journal aims to provide a scholarly forum for sharing research results and academic discussions related to the development of library and information science.

Since its first publication, Tadwin Journal has been committed to maintaining the quality of its scientific publications through a rigorous editorial selection and peer review process. The journal publishes articles covering various topics, including library management, information literacy, library information technology, collection management, information preservation, user studies, and other contemporary issues in library and information science.

Over time, Tadwin Journal has continuously improved the quality of its journal management, including the implementation of an online journal management system through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, strengthening editorial standards, and expanding networks of authors and reviewers from various universities and research institutions. These efforts are intended to establish Tadwin Journal as a credible and professional scholarly publication that contributes to the advancement of library and information science at the national level.
