Kebijakan Presiden Prabowo Subianto Pada Bencana Ekologis Di Aceh, Sumatera Utara Dan Padang Dalam Perspektif Nilai-Nilai Politik Islam
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes President Prabowo Subianto's policy-making process in response to the ecological disasters of floods and landslides in North Sumatra, Aceh, and Padang (West Sumatra) in late 2025 from the perspective of Islamic political values. Using the Maqasid al-Shari'ah framework and Islamic ethical principles such as justice (adl), social concern (maslahah), amanah (moral responsibility), shura (consultation), and environmental protection (hifz al-bi'ah), this article examines how these values are manifested in the Indonesian government's public policy process. Findings indicate that emergency policies implicitly reflect several Islamic political values, such as prioritizing public welfare, the moral responsibility of leaders, and ecological awareness regarding disaster-causing factors. However, there are also challenges in their implementation, including public criticism regarding social sensitivity and the declaration of a national disaster status. This article provides insight into the relationship between Islamic moral values and state policy practices in the context of a complex ecological crisis.
