Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung

Abstract
This study aims to examine the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, focusing on its implementation, challenges, and the solutions applied in its administration. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants were selected purposively, involving the head of the madrasah, the vice principal in charge of facilities and infrastructure, teachers, administrative staff, and students. The findings reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure is carried out through seven main stages: planning, procurement, inventory, storage, maintenance, disposal, and supervision and accountability. In general, the planning and procurement processes have been systematic and participatory, while the inventory and maintenance stages still face several challenges such as limitations in administrative systems and human resources. Improvement efforts are being made through the use of technology and enhanced coordination among stakeholders. The disposal and supervision stages are carried out following transparent and accountable procedures. This study concludes that despite the challenges in the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management, MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung has demonstrated a commitment to establishing effective and sustainable educational facility management to support the improvement of education quality.
