Nilai-nilai Tasawuf dalam Kumpulan Puisi Karya Kahlil Gibran

Abstract

This study aims to examine more deeply the values ​​of Sufism in a collection of poems by Kahlil Gibran. This is because Kahlil Gibran's poems are strongly suspected of containing Sufism values. Interestingly, Kahlil Gibran is not a Muslim. This research is library research (Libarry Research). There are two sources of data in this study, namely primary and secondary. The primary data comes from a collection of Kahlil Gibran's poems entitled "Setitis Air Mata Seulas Senyum". While the secondary data includes documentation related to research. The data collection is done by documenting the works of Kahlil Gibran and various other references. The analysis uses the message or content analysis method contained in the poems of Kahlil Gibran. The results of this study indicate that the three poems of Kahlil Gibran contain two characteristics of Sufism, akhlaqi, and falsafi. This is further strengthened by the discovery of nine Sufism values. The values ​​of Sufism include mahabbah, zikr, syukr, tafakkur, ridho, taubah, tawakal, ikhtiar, and ittihad.
