Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Bangun Datar dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning

Abstract
Berdasarkan kenyataan dalam pembelajaran matematika banyak siswa yang tidak memahami penggunaan atau manfaat dari materi yang dipelajari (menguntungkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari), dan sebagian besar buku teks matematika yang digunakan oleh sekolah secara dominan berisi tentang definisi, proses konsep, dan pertanyaan abstrak. Situasi ini akan berbeda jika bahan ajar dirumuskan dalam materi pembelajaran yang dirancang bagi siswa untuk berperan aktif belajar dan membangun pengetahuan mereka sendiri. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning dengan tipe formative research melalui: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data diproses melalui tes dan analisis jawaban siswa. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 76,29 yang dikategorikan baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis, (2) prestasi siswa dalam ujian dikategorikan sebagai prestasi yang baik.
