Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika dengan Model Discovery Learning pada Materi Teorema Pythagoras

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan Model discovery dengan media berupa Papan Buteras yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII.9 di SMPN 24 Palembang dengan materi pokok Teorema Pythagoras yang diukur melalui observasi dan tes. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.9 yang berjumlah 31 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester gazal tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Tes dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar yang telah dicapai oleh siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Model discovery. Observasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data tentang tingkat sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Model discovery. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa model discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa untuk kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dan juga untuk kompetensi sikap terhadap pembelajaran matematika.
