STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI DINAS KOMINFO KOTA PALEMBANG DALAM MENGELOLA EVENT DI MASA PANDEMI

Abstract

The management of events by The Department of Communication and Informatics in Palembang City during the Covid-19 pandemic not only affects the government but also affects the society. In one side the Covid-19 Pandemic has not yet been completed, but the Regional Government still has to hold events in accordance with applicable health protocols. This study aims to find out how communication strategies are and what are the inhibiting factors when managing events during a pandemic. This research uses a Qualitative Methodology with a Case Study Approach. methods in the form of interviews, observations, and documenttation. The primary data source from the research is through interviews with informants from the Department of Communication and Informatics in Palembang City, while the secondary data sources from this study consisted of books, journals, theses and websites related to research. The model used in this study is the Event Management Model. This model is divided into 5 stages, namely research, design, planning, coordination and evaluation. At the research stage. At the research stage, the Kominfo Service serves the Government related to the activities of the Palembang Office and Mayor, at the design stage the E-Government Governance & Development Department of Palembang City serves requests for zoom meetings from Ministries or other Services, At the planning stage the Kominfo Service is as provider of facilities for holding zoom meetings that can be held at LJCC, at the coordination stage the Communication and Informatics Office served as a facilitator, at the evaluation stage it went welL.
