Tafsir Ahkam dan Signifikansi Makna Perjuangan Palestina: Analisis Fatwa MUI Nomor 83 Tahun 2023 dalam Perspektif Ma’nā-cum-Maghzā
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article aims to examine the ahkam verses in MUI fatwa No. 83 of 2023 from the perspective of ma'nā-cum-maghzā. Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative method, this article concludes that through linguistic analysis and historical context in ma'nā-cum-maghzā, these ahkam verses become a strong normative basis for responding to various contemporary issues, including the prolonged conflict in Palestine, where the prohibition of fasād, the principle of protecting life, and the obligation of solidarity find their real actualization. The historical significance (al-maghzā al-tārikhī) of the ahkam verses describes the dynamics that occurred during the time of the Prophet, thus forming an ethical and legal foundation that is relevant both for the time of the Muhammad and for Muslims today. Meanwhile, the contemporary dynamic significance (al-maghzā al-mutaḥarrik al-mu’āṣir) of the verses of ahkam shows that boycotting products and companies that support Israeli aggression is a peaceful strategy rooted in Qur'anic ethics. Boycotts are a form of non-violent jihad that unites the spiritual, social, and political values of Muslims. The verses of ahkam in the MUI fatwa instruct the ummah to take a socio-political stance, one of the actual manifestations of which is through the practice of boycotting products or institutions involved in oppression. This article contributes to providing theological legitimacy for peaceful actions such as boycotts, which are an ethical struggle for Muslims while also demonstrating global solidarity and support for the Palestinian people in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
